Shelburne’s Committee of Adjustment has approved a severance for land exchanges to accommodate realignment of land adjacent to Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex (CDRC) for a 500-pupil elementary school.

Now, a fledgling business is helping keep certain vestiges of the alley alive, by using wood from the lanes and bowling pins to make anything from benches to salad forks.

Police drug project results in multiple arrests

Last Thursday, February 2, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers concluded a project that was focused on identifying mid- to high-level drug dealers who were trafficking in prescription and non-prescription drugs in the northern part of Peel Region and Dufferin and Simcoe counties. Assistance was also received yesterday from the Peel Regional Police and Orangeville Police Service (OPS).
