Twisters Gymnastics Club welcomed 200 gymnasts from across Ontario to the first qualifier held on December 3rd and 4th, 2005.

The meet directors, Corena Francoeur, Jennifer Lagerquist and Shirley Emslie did an exceptional job organizing the 2 day event.

With the help of the Twisters coaching staff and the many parent volunteers they were able to keep 200 athletes, 20 judges, and 60 coaches running on or ahead of schedule all weekend.

Thirteen gymnasts from Twisters posted some excellent results and will continue to prepare for the second qualifier to be held in Mississauga in February. Coach Ken Rae explained, “ the goal of each athlete is attend three qualifying meets in an attempt to qualify for Provincial Championships in April. Although it is early in the
