Major Peewee
It was all Orangeville at home this game as the Flyers dumped Erin easily showing them who the better team was in this match.
The lone goal in the first period was scored by Jeremy Reay, which was to be his first of his hat trick of the night, assisted by Jake Deschamp and Corey Caulfield.
Erin tied it up early in the second and actually took the lead shortly thereafter for a brief period.
However, the Flyers tied it up on Reay's second of the night, Ryan Teeter and Robert Farace both earning assists on this one.
The third period was all about Orangeville as Reay came out smokin' to blast his third one past the Erin netminder creating the go ahead for the Flyers.
Emmerson Small answered his call with his blistering shot on a cross rink pass from Pat Hill.
Brett Snell secured matters when he flipped one in coming from Jake Deschamp moving things out of the Flyers zone.
The final goal was an unassisted beauty scored by Eric Franco with two minutes left in the game to wrap it up ahead by 4.
Orangeville 6
Ancaster 5
Playing their third game in as many nights, the Major Peewee AE Flyers travelled to Ancaster through some dicey weather to pull off another win, creating a four game unbeaten stretch.
Assistant captain Robert Farace put Orangeville on the board early in the first on a set up by teamates Jeremy Reay and Ryan Teeter.
The powerline of Emmerson Small, Chris Roach and Eric Franco took over the ice for the next three goals, all scored by Small for his well deserved hat trick, with Roach and Franco earning three assists each.
The Flyers dominated the play throughout the game and with a minute left in the second, Reay chalked up another, assisted by Farace to make it 5-2.
Ancaster pulled some tricks out of the hat and managed to beat Chris Warren in net for the Flyers, to tie it up.
However, the Flyers were not giving up and turned up the heat just enough to allow Teeter to finish off a shot by Farace from just inside, on his pass from fellow assistant captain Pat Hill.
