Ed Johnston —(Conservative)  “I feel for those who must vote liberal. They wouldn’t do very well if the CFO of their organization at home misplaced a quarter billion dollars.” He said the sponsorship scandal is an issue everyone seems to be forgetting. Mary McKeen — (leaning toward Green Party) She thinks the government wasted taxpayer dollars with the sponsorship scandal. She also thinks the government should be paying down the debt the county has. She doesn’t think the winter election will make much of a difference and said she hasn’t been thinking about it too much. I don’t understand his policy.” He is predicting another Liberal minority government and wants the local MP to get away from the backbench and do something for the town. April Nash — (undecided)  Education is the main issue for her. She would like to see money spent on education and the repairing roads.
