Re: Myths that Kill
Mr. Nagler’s essay on the make-believe world of myths is interesting. Noticing more and more blurring of the “lines” between myth and reality, I wonder if we are receiving a lot of subliminal messages through the media?
Commercial advertising is a 24/7 business, ensuring that we cannot escape this form of brainwashing.
Hollywood has always been about myth-making. While getting weirder by the minute, it earns millions of dollars for the producers and distributors.
