HUNDREDS helped ring in the New Year by gathering downtown and participating in the second annual Orangeville First Night festivities. Not just once, but twice, revellers had the chance to greet 2006. At 9 p.m. there was the first countdown of the night for families and younger participants, and then again at the stroke of midnight, the sounds of kabuki cannons, fireworks and Auld Lang Syne echoed down Broadway to the delight of all in attendance.
