Christmas has come and gone and now you may be ready to remove your tree.

Tree pick-up will happen from January 10-12 and 17-19 in Orangeville. All ornaments and nails must be removed.

Subdivisions in Mono will have pickup on January 16. Other residents can drop theirs off at the landfill for free on January 19 and 21.

Mono residents also have the choice of taking their tree to the Tree Chipping Winterfest on January 15 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Mono Community Centre in Mono Centre.

There will be a children’s entertainer performing at 1:15 p.m. and 3 p.m. and a penny draw at 3:30 p.m.

In the park there will be horse drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, tobogganing, snowshoeing and cross county skiing (available there).

Admission is free and a donation to the food bank would be appreciated.
