Our Committees are already busy organizing Branch fundraising events for the upcoming spring and summer season. Members will tee off at the Orangeville Golf Course the end of May in the Annual Branch Golf Tournament, closely followed by our 5th Annual Show & Shine Event June 4th, and Busker’s Weekend Event, July 8th. More will be revealed in the coming months, but what we know for a fact is that some special attractions have been added to both the Show & Shine and Busker’s Events that will surely appeal to the whole family.
Striving to bring variety to our Friday Members Night, our Entertainment Committee has Larry Kurtz and Bruce Lea from the group Trouble and Strife on board for Friday, February 17th from 6’ til 10, and back by popular demand from 5 pm to 7 are CC’s Homemade Meat Pies for $4.00. Jill Phillips ‘Howling Wolves’ are the Karaoke providers for this Saturday evening from 9 to 1.
Our monthly Branch Euchre last Sunday was well supported and we offer best of luck to those going to the Zone Euchre Tournament in Everett on February 18th. Sign-up sheets for our Branch Open Dart Tournament on Saturday, March 18th are posted in the Sports Room and players must be registered before March 1st. Entry fee is $12.50 per person.
February 19th is Branch 233’s monthly Sunday Breakfast. For $4.00 our Food Convenors will fill your plate with eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausages, pancakes, toast, juice and coffee.
Everyone welcome to come out and enjoy this high class meal at low cost prices.
Lest We Forget.
