ORANGEVILLE FIRE FIGHTERS protect the exposures of the old bunkhouse in the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) yard on Townline during a fire Tuesday afternoon. It took the crew about eight hours to ensure the fire was completely out. Top right: The bunkhouse becomes completely engulfed in flames when fire fighters are no longer able to save the building because of safety reasons and instead had to take a defensive role and keep it under control. Right: The morning after reveals only the chimney is left standing with the heritage building in a pile of black, torched ruins.
