Headwaters adds hours of service for X-Ray, Ultrasound
Headwaters Health Care Centre's Department of Diagnostic Imaging is introducing earlymorning, evening and weekend hours of service at its Orangeville site to meet the needs of its patients.
"Individuals and families in our community are busier then ever. The new hours will give people more flexibility to have their diagnostic exam performed before or after school or work," says Dr. Louise Keevil, Chief of Radiology, Headwaters Health Care Centre.
The new hours are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 4:15 p.m.
In all, 1 1/2 hours of service have been added in the morning and 2 1/2 in the evening on weekdays. There are also new weekend hours. Previously service was available only Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"We are pleased that we are able to provide more hours of service to our community," said Bob Baynham, the hospital's president and chief executive officer.
Appointments can be booked by calling (519) 941-2410 and following the Diagnostic Imaging menu on the automated phone system.
