Julia Dubinsky Julia Dubinsky, of Mount Allison's volleyball team was recently selected as a second-team allstar in the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association (ACAA) conference.

As a fivef o o t s e v e n power hitter for the team, Dubinsky was instrumental in leading the Mounties 17-7 record in ACAA competition. In 85 games played, she has totalled over 156 kills, 255 digs and 15 stuff blocks.

Skilled in both offensively and defensively, Dubinsky has been instrumental in helping a very young team to an overall third place conference ranking and a third consecutive playoff experience.

A native of Shelburne Ontario , Dubinsky is a former honour roll student from Centre Dufferin District High where she played power for the Royals under coach Greenwood.

In 2003-04, she was MVP of the ACTS Elites volleyball club, a team she had been playing with since 1988.

Dubinsky was also named University Athlete of the Week last November and is currently majoring in biology in her second year of Science at Mount Allison.
