Jamie Kirk Vermont sophomore Jamie Kirk (Orangeville, Ontario) of the University of Vermont Catamounts men's lacrosse team has been named the C o A m e r i c a East Player of the Week.

Kirk scored a career-high 10 points on four goals and six assists in Saturday's 14-10 win over Quinnipiac.

He also added one goal and two

assists in last week's win over Wagner for a total of 13 points on the week.

Kirk has an America East leading 20 assists on the year along with nine goals for a conference high 29 points.

The Catamounts have won five of their last six games to improve to 62 on the season.

It's the best start for Vermont since 2001 and the Catamounts have already surpassed

last season's win total.
