The participants included 11 members aged 12 to 16 and one adult. The Orangeville group, as part of the challenge, also collected donations for the Orangeville Food Bank.
Speeders being clocked
Dufferin OPP are getting tough on speeding in the county.
On Wednesday, March 29, five Dufferin OPP officers conducted interceptor radar on Highway 10 in Mono. Between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., 28 motorists were stopped and charged for speeding. New OPP Detachment Commander, Staff Sgt. Ryan Carothers, participated in this initiative and suggests the public can expect aggressive enforcement campaigns.
Thieves made off with a generator from a Mulmur home last week.
Dufferin OPP reports that sometime between March 30 and 30, a 13.5h.p. John Deere generator was stolen from a residence in Mulmur Township.
