2006-04-27 / Local News

The Orangeville and District Labour Council will observe a National Day of Mourning tomorrow (Friday) with a ceremony at the town hall.

In Canada and around the world, April 28 has been designated as a day of observance for workers who were killed or injured on the job.

A monument dedicated to workers who lost their lives sits outside Orangeville's town offices.

Members of the public are invited to gather around the monument at noon.
