Claire Hoy writes there is a need for some abortion law and I agree any reduction in abortions is gain, because it means less babies created in the image of God (Gen. 1:27) are destroyed.

Steven Harper in the last part of his campaign started to conclude his speeches with "God bless Canada." To "deserve" God's blessing it would be a good start to put the abortion debate back on the agenda.

This all comes about because of the moral decay rampant in Canada. God is banned from the public school system and most of public life and with it the moral law (the 10 Commandments).

Man's reason and its evolution theories have taken its place and now MAN sits on the throne. To correct this we should go back to the beginning and remind ourselves that God created Adam and eve and they became one flesh (Gen. 2:24). But now sex is divorced from the bond of marriage.

Trudeau even joked in the corridors of Parliament that women now had the same

freedom as men and could sleep around without the fear of pregnancy.

Now we have Muslims in our midst with large families. They are obedient to the commandment (Gen. 1:28) to be fruitful and multiply. Herein lies a problem and we have only ourselves to blame. In Europe in a number of places the Muslims in a few years will become the majority if this trend continues.

Also in America the above trends are happening. It is aggravated with the practice of wide open abortion as in Canada. Even the families of Christians and those who call themselves Christians are getting smaller with 2-4 children considered to be a nice size.

They should read Psalm 127 and pay special attention to verse 3 where it says "children are a heritage of the Lord" and verse 5, "happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They shall not be ashamed but shall speak with their enemies in the gate." God Bless Canada!
