THERE WAS end to end action in spades as the Dufferin Family of Schools held their Basketball Championships at Westside on Tuesday evening. Hyland Heights and Laurelwoods Lightning were first to the court in the opening game of the Girls B Final while the Montgomery Village Vipers and East Gary Raiders clashed in the Girls A Final. What ended up being the closest game of the evening, saw a defensive battle between the Parkinson Panthers and Centennial Hylands in the Boys B final. This game went to went down to the wire when a Panthers basket with 9 seconds left to play gave Parkinson a 28-27 victory. The Boys A final was postponed due to time restrictions and was rescheduled to be played at Westside
