Buck and Heron part of winning team

2006-04-27 / Sports

Rebecca Buck of Orangeville and Chelsea Heron of Caledon were part of an incredible hockey team this season.

The Brampton Peewee AA Canadettes started the season off with a tournament win at the Aero's tournament in Toronto.

This was just the beginning of a season that saw seven GOLD medals and three SILVER medals travelling as far as Rochester and Sarnia in the process

They finished their season in first place in the North Metro Girls Hockey League and then won the NMGHL championships.

In the Provincial final, they triumphed 2-1 over the London Devilettes in the final to bring home the medal and the coveted OWHA champs coats.

They followed this up by winning their own tournament over Guelph in the final to cap off an almost perfect season.
