Theatre Orangeville plans two youth shows
Theatre Orangeville's summer programs for youth will be producing two shows this summer.
Both are geared for the young and young-at heart and offer different styles of entertainment.
Artistic Director David Nairn describes the companies as "incredibly talented, with great energy and talent" and encourages families to take advantage of this opportunity to bring theatre into the lives of their children.
Music-Drama for Young People will be staging Dig It, a musical tale of ancient civilization, directed by Anne Reid. There are two performances at the Orangeville Opera House; this Friday, July 14 at 7:30, and Saturday, July 15 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $7.00 and $5.00.
Near the end of August, Theatre Orangeville's Young Company is performing "Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up" outdoors in the bowl at Hockley Highlands Inn and Convention Centre.
Pablo Felices-Luna is returning to the Orangeville area for his third year as director of the Young Company. There will be four performances - Saturday, August 26 at 2 and 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 27, also at 2 and 6. Tickets are $10 (GST included) or $40 per carload.
Plan to bring the kids to these two unique performances and watch the magic unfold.
