On our once beautiful Broadway We walked to see the "Infamous Median." Who thought this one up - A dreamer? or a comedienne?

Were taxpayers to be included To have a chance to vent? Or were decisions already made, Signed and sealed with cement?

It was plain to see That it was not with ease To drive or park Without a tight squeeze.

Our concern is emergency vehicles Trying to get through. What if it was one of your family . . . or possibly you?

The much over stated Over pictured clock Perhaps could find a new home on another block.

We've been put into an inexcusable debt With "Median, Rec Centre/Library" as such Are elected officials thinking of taxpayers Or - are they just out of touch?

And so we must say With every dollar our Town borrows Is there any hope For brighter tomorrows?
