BY JILL BROYDEN Branch 233, Orangeville

Since we are still in modification mode, any activity around Branch 233 last weekend was focused on painting, hanging pictures and cleanup. Our esteemed Past Presidents' have now taken their rightful place on the walls of the Lounge and the next phase of the restoration project can begin.

We will be moving into festive mode in August for our 11th Annual Veterans Picnic on August 6th. Chefs Bill and Audrey have a special meal planned for our Vets, along with a token of appreciation from the Branch for those Veterans who have pre-registered.

We keep the momentum going for the August 19th trip to the CNE for the 85th Warriors Day Parade. Our Colour Party will be participating in the parade, so let's give them our support. A signup sheet for members is posted at the bar and the cost is $20. This Saturday's entertainment from 9 pm 'til 1 is provided by Jill Phillips 'Howling Wolves.

Lest We Forget!
