Rev. John Morley is the new minister at the Riverside Pentecostal Assembly in Grand Valley. He started his new role July 9, after relocating from Dryden where he had been the senior pastor at the church for about three years. Prior to that he was the assistant minister in Elmira for 1.5 years.

A graduate of the Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (now called the Masters College and Seminary) in Peterborough, Mr. Morley has his Bachelor's of Theology degree. He's been a minister for seven years.

Originally from Windsor, Rev. Morley says he likes the beautiful countryside here and that he already feels at home.

"I really want to connect the church to the community," Mr. Morley says. "Part of my goal is to continue the tradition of Riverside Pentecostal being a family church for all ages. My wife and I really like to get to know people and we're really enjoying the area."

Currently a resident of Orangeville, Pastor Morley and his wife Charlotte and son Jonathan, 20 months, are looking to buy a home in the Grand Valley area.
