Not much happening in Branch 233 lately, other than our ongoing restoration project, which is coming along nicely.

Sports activities these days are of the outdoor variety but we still have some die-hard Pool and Shuffleboard players who come out regularly to compete.

Speaking of pool, our four 8-ball Snooker Champions returned home from the Provincial Tournament last Saturday with 9 wins under their belts. Comrades Ron Simms, Chris Pappas, Bill Prout and Don Logan competed against 23 teams from across Ontario. Very impressive!

On Saturday, July 29th the Bursary Committee will present nine students with a $500 bursary to go towards their continuing education. On Saturday evening from 9 p.m. until 1, 'Music Talks' will provide Karaoke in the Lounge.
