A PERFECT EVENING FOR A BALLOON RIDE. The third annual hot-air balloon festival hosted by the Mono Cliffs Inn as a fundraiser for Choices Youth Shelter, saw a dozen hot-air balloons launch from the property of Mono resident Bill Koyle. The trip lasted about an hour for 60 riders. Innkeeper Carol Hall, said Wayne Beagle, barkeep at the pub, was responsible for the organization of the successful event that raised $7,200.
