Sylvia Jones, representing MPP John Tory, and Gail Campbell, representing Orangeville council, were on hand to mark the occasion. An open house was held Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the new location of the Centre for Career and Employment Services at Georgian College's Orangeville site.

The centre was formerly known as Youth Employment Services. The new location includes a workshop room and training room. Through this centre young people have access to computers, internet, fax machine, resume templates and a photocopy machine. One-on-one assistance

is also available to help them create a resume and cover letter, prepare for an interview and learn job searching techniques.

Sylvia Jones, representing MPP John Tory, said it was great to see the centre able to operate out of a new space with services all on the same floor.

Representing council Gail Campbell said this is great news for the college, town and young people and said it will be very successful.
