Old rock 'n roll never dies

Fans of music from the 1970s should check out the Orangeville Town Hall Opera House tomorrow night (Oct. 20).

The Theatre Orangeville production "Bat Out of Hell," described as the ultimate tribute to Meatloaf, will share the stage with Orangeville's own Mary- Ann Kelly, who sings in the tribute band Rumours, featuring Fleetwood Mac and Stevie tunes for an evening concert benefiting Community Living Dufferin.

Kelly says it's nice to play for the "home town crowd" - something she

doesn't often do - and sees it as a good opportunity to support a great cause.

"When I learned some of the proceeds are going back into the community I was very interested." she said.

Kelly will be playing at the opera house without her band, Rumours, but still singing her renditions of both Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac songs, something she has been doing for about 20 years.

Tickets can be purchased at the Theatre Orangeville box office or online at www.theatreorangeville. ca .
