BY JILL BROYDEN Branch 233, Orangeville

Forty-four Branches, including Branch 233 attended the District E Convention in Orillia last weekend. After a three days of meetings and camaraderie, our four delegates returned with some interesting information for our members.

Our three $2,000 donations to District & Provincial funds were much appreciated. Attendance was not quite as good at last Sunday's Branch breakfast, although we are just starting them up again after the summer.

Our monthly breakfasts are an excellent opportunity for a family outing, and they need support if we are to continue them throughout the winter months.

This week's "Red Friday" is keeping the spirit of Oktoberfest alive for our Members Night Out with Oktoberfest sausages being our feature presentation. Eat-in or take-out at $5.00 a plate.

Saturday Dart League commences at 1 pm and Karaoke with 'Music Talks' at 9 p.m. in the Lounge.

Deadline for Remembrance Wreath Orders is November 3rd, so please get your order before then.

Lest We Forget!
