On October 12, 2006 the Arthurs Fuels Minor Atom AE Flyers faced off on home ice against the Burlington Eagles.

The play in the first period was evenly matched and the Flyers determination was particularly evident during two power plays.

Forward Jonah Graham scored unassisted at 1:37 to put Orangeville on the board.

The second period was scoreless most definitely due to the hot Flyer goaltending by both Aydin Masood and Connor Davis.

Burlington tied up the game five minutes into the third period and then got the go-ahead goal three minutes later.

Orangeville worked hard to tie the game, pulling the goalie at 1:30, but unfortunately came up short.

Both Burlington and Orangeville earned 8 minutes of penalties in the game.

On October 14, 2006 the Arthurs Fuels Minor Atom AE Flyers traveled to the grand 7,100 seat Dom Cardillo Arena at the Kitchener Aud to play against the Kitchener Red.

Both teams played a strong first period, but Kitchener got the first goal at 2:34 in the first.

The Flyers are to be commended for their strong back-checking and solid defense.

At 2:04 in the second period Flyer Calvin Meek scored with a flick shot over the Kitchener goalie's pads from the top of the crease on an assist from Logan Ward.

That would be it for scoring by either squad with the game ending tied 1 -1.
