WOW! Thank You one and all who came out in miserable weather to take part in the Remembrance Day ceremonies.

There were record crowds across the country, including here at home. Our Dinner/Dance also had a record attendance. There was plenty of the delicious roast beef dinner, prepared and served by 164 Squadron Air Cadets, officers, parents and helpers. Then there was great music by DJ DP Hammer for those who stayed to dance.

All in all, a great day and fitting tribute to all those who gave their lives so we can now enjoy freedom; to those who came home but can never forget; and, to those who serve today. God bless them all.

Membership Reminder: You have only until Nov. 30th to save $10 on your 2007 membership dues and get in on a chance for free 2008 membership. After Nov. 30, dues are back to $55 and must be paid by Dec. 31 to remain a member in good standing. If your dues are not paid by then, you cannot attend meetings.

Everyone is welcome to come out on Sunday, Nov. 19 for a special Welcome Home Reception for MCpl Dwayne Orvis, here at Branch 220, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Let's see record crowds again, let Dwayne and all our troops know they have our full support.
