     With the growth of ethanol plants in North America, plus Ontario's edict that 10 per cent of automobile fuel must be ethanol by the year 2009, the price of corn has begun to climb, and experts are predicting the trend will continue.

Confirmed influenza cases reported by health unit
     Wellington-Dufferin- Guelph Public Health has received the first two laboratory confirmed cases of Influenza A for the 2006-07 season. One case of Influenza A was reported in North Wellington and the other in Guelph.
