Caledon OPP responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving a tractortrailer on Airport Road, north of Mayfield Road last Saturday night.

Police say a southbound vehicle collided with the northbound tractor-trailer. The driver of the car, Joseph Lesiak, 76, of Collingwood was airlifted to Sunnybrook Medical Centre in serious condition. A passenger, Joseph Lamacchia, 44, of Brampton was taken by ambulance to the William Osler hospital in Brampton and remains in stable condition. A second passenger, Seprena Alton, 31, and the transport driver, Balraj Grewal, 32, of Brampton, were not injured.

No charges have been laid but Caledon OPP and OPP Highway Safety Division's Technical Traffic Collision investigators are continuing their investigation.
