We can be sure that nothing happens without the Will of God

These days we hear from the Conservatives quite a bit about accountability. One kind of accountability however is not talked about and that is that we are all accountable for our deeds to GOD who made the heavens and the earth. By right of creation He gave us the 10 commandments in which we can mirror ourselves and see how far we are off the mark. Even those who do not open a Bible, there is the book of nature that everyone can read.

It did not come as a surprise that the same sex marriage vote turned out the way it did. Peter McKay voted against reopening the debate because he wanted to go forward and the Prime Minister would accept the outcome of the vote as final.

What I like about democracy is that everyone can vote and that the majority hopefully is right. However that is not what a majority vote guarantees. That is especially the case in moral issues and in this way everyone is accountable how they vote.

As a nation Canada voted to go its own way as opposed to God’s way. The book of nature clearly teaches that there is a biological difference between men and women (Romans 1: 18-32) and that it is wrong for same sex couples to marry.

You can easily see where same sex marriage will lead to unless you are unwilling to see it.

Same sex marriage means that by definition you do not want children or at least you do not want a man to be the head of the family. It is obvious

that children benefit from a father and a mother for a well-rounded upbringing. The result of this downward trend in morals is that the population of the country goes down.

To keep up the material; standard of living, immigrants are invited into the country to fill the demands of the labour market. A sizable part of these immigrants come from Muslim countries.

They still believe in families with a father and a mother as do true Christians and others who take their lesions from the book of Nature. The trouble with Muslims is that the Koran teaches a religion of the sword. Surah 9:5 reads “Kill the mushrikim (unbelievers) wherever you find them.” This verse focuses especially on Jews and Christians because the idol worshippers of that day had already accepted Islam.

Their Idols were not worth dying for. The closer a Muslim lives the Koran the more potential trouble he may cause. You only have to look at Europe to see that. An example of that kind of trouble can be seen also in a recent incident in Afghanistan where someone was sentenced to death because he converted to Christianity from Islam. That is treated a as a criminal offence in Muslim countries. Only the protest of Christians and humanists all over the world prevented the sentence from being carried out. He was then declared insane by the judge so he could not be held criminally responsible. That makes me think of Stalin in Russia who did the same thing.

We should not however blame individual Muslims for this. They often want to be left alone to make a living and raise a family. We as a nation are to blame and are sowing the wind and will reap the whirlwind (Hosea 8:7).

It is lamentable that so many ministers who profess the Christian religion are giving their approval to same sex marriages. Such

ones who know the truth but have perverted it and lead their sheep astray will receive the greater damnation (Matthew 23:14).

How do we go from here as Christians? We can be sure that nothing happens without the Will of God. We have to go forward as a light in a dark place and as a salting salt in a decaying society (Matthew 5: 14, 13).
