The Orangeville Tyke Select Flyers extended their unbeaten streak to 23 games when they defeated the visiting Georgetown Raiders this past Saturday.

With a record of 20 wins 0 loses and 3 ties this years Flyers have been a team on a mission.

Orangeville got on the board early when Kyle Waters drifted one in on a nice pass from Matthew Wark.

The Raiders managed to get one back to tie things at 1- 1.

Ty Inglis restored the Orangeville lead to end the first period on a short handed goal to go up 2-1.

The two teams waged a defensive battle through the second with neither team being able find away to score on the opposing net.

Scott Del Zotto started things off in the third from Matthew Zoltek.

Evan Kiser widened the margin from Ty Inglis, their second short handed goal of the game to take a convincing 4-1 lead.

Inglis got his second of the night from Kyle Waters and Evan Kiser. Del Zotto from Matthew Jennings made it 6- 1, Waters from Kiser made it 7-1.

The Raiders didn't give up as they snuck 2 late goals past Cameron O'Gorman to make the game 7-3.

Scott Del Zotto finished his hat trick on a pass from Cameron Dunkerly to make the final 8-3.

The Flyers have a break from the regular season as they will be in the Milton tournament over Christmas
