Rookie honours

Nicholas Vassos continues to make his mark on the OPJHL.

The 16 year old Orangeville forward added to his on-ice credentials last week when he was named as Rookie of the Year in the OPJHL North Division along with co-recipient Cory Trivino of Stoufville.

Since joining the club this summer, Vassos has consistently been among the top five Orangeville point getters this season.

He currently sits second to Crushers point leader Matt Crilly with 14 goals and 15 assists for a total of 29 points heading into the final weekend of regular season play.
