Oilers 6-3 over Canucks

The third place McDonalds Oilers held off a late charge from the fourth place Sunvale Homes Canucks to win 6-3 on Saturday.

The Oilers were led by Kurtis Cotton-Petersen's two goals and an assist while Conner Krofchick also chipped in a pair of goals.

Brennan Newman and John Milkovich rounded out the score sheet for the Oilers, each tagging singles while Adam Kennedy, Mason Kameka, Mark Strudwick, Zachary Adams, Trevor Castle and Newman picked up assists.

Canuck's scoring was lead by Brendan Chapman's hat trick with Mitchell Banks(2), Zack Doolan and Lucas Cameron chipping in with assists.

Charlie Hamilton, who had a shut-out going until the 9:49 mark of the second period, was great in goal for Sunvale Homes and Quinten Schneider was also outstanding for McDonalds, shutting down many breakaways.
