Volunteers and singers are busy preparing for the 2007 season Launch of the Elora Festival and two additional Spring events.

Music-lovers are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the 2007 Elora Festival program, July 13 to August 5. The launch will take place at the Elora Centre for the Arts next Wednesday, April 25.

The festival's new website, www.elorafestival.com, will also be revealed and the public will be able to start ordering tickets May 1.

Book-lovers are anticipating the 19th Annual Elora Festival Mammoth Book Sale at the Elora Curling Club, David Street, on May 5 and 6, when thousands of books will be available at very reasonable prices.

And on Sunday, May 13, (Mother's Day) the Elora Festival Singers will perform their final Winter Series concert, Haydn and Schubert, at St. John's Church at 3 p.m. Tickets are $30. Call 519-846-0331 to reserve tickets or for further information.
