Hiking can lead to a Dufferin Hiland Bruce Trail 'Rose Badge'
Dufferin Hi-Land Bruce Trail volunteers look after a 53.4 km stretch of trail on the Niagara Escarpment between Lavender in the north and Mono Centre in the south.
Between these communities, the trail travels through several gorgeous parks, such as Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, the Boyne Valley Provincial Park, the Pine River Fishing Area, and the rolling hills of Mono and Mulmur. Club volunteers should be congratulated on the first-class upkeep of this great trail.
To see the trail first-hand, join members of the Mad River Ganaraska Hiking club, as they walk the entire 53.4 km in a four-part series. Anyone who completes hiking the entire Dufferin Hi- Land section of the Bruce Trail in one calendar year, will - if they so desire - receive the much-coveted Rose Badge. A small fee applies.
