The Canisius College Womens lacrosse program named its 2007 season award winners at their annual banquet on April 22nd.

Leading the pack of players who made a substantial contribution to the team was Orangeville native Alison Rusak.

Sharing the Defensive Most Valuable Player honours with junior Erica Nasca, Rusak in her freshman year, started all 16 games this season and finished second on the team with 38 groundballs.

She also tied for first among all Canisius players with 18 caused runovers.
