Market celebrates Farmers' Market Week with free corn roast

Farmers' Market Week in Ontario will be marked at the Orangeville Farmers' Market with a free corn roast this Saturday, August 11.t Members of the Dufferin Federation of Agriculture will be cooking and serving the free corn.

Market friends are invited to enter the free weekly draw to win fresh Ontario corn.

Last week's performers 'Inti Ruma' have donated their CDs Theme for Lovers and To the World for prizes to be won this week too. Congratulations to Lori Costello for winning the $25.00 gift voucher from Bert Niewenhuis's lamb barbecue last Saturday.

Fresh local produce is sold at market. If you have freshly grown vegetables from your farm or home garden, why not bring some to sell at the Market?

Market plant growers still have beautiful lilies in bloom for your garden or to give as a gift to make someone's day! Have you seen the metal work artist who has garden dÈcor for sale yet?

Perogy vendors Helen and Peter Danchuk are back from holidays. Everyone is happy to have their breakfast perogies again!
