The Boston Pizza Minor Tyke Northmen hosted Mimico on Wednesday night and won the last regular season game of the year 8-7 to finish with a 7-5-1 record.

Orangeville completely turned their game around from last weeks game in Oakville, using exceptional passing to generate their best offensive output of the year.

Keegan Madden had a four goal night and Tanner Buck picked up two goals and two assists.

Elgin Cooke scored the other two goals and added an assist.

Liam McIllwraith chipped in with two assists, while Cian Davies, Jordan Halsall, Tristan Williams and Kurtis Cotton-Petersen picked up single assists each.

Dawson Drury had another solid game in goal for the Northmen with the help of some hard hitting defense.

Orangeville finishes up the year with the provincial championships in whitby on August 5-7.
