This Friday will be members night. Dinner will be pub pies prepared by Comrade Tom Deans. Entertainment will be provided by Johnny Greene. Dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m., entertainment from 6 to 10 p.m.

Legion Week kicks off Sunday, September 16th. Sunday will see a church parade marching off at 10:00 a.m. at Tweedsmuir Church directly across from the Branch at 7 John Street. A church service will follow at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a bar-b-q and open house at the Branch beginning at noon. In the evening, we will have a candlelight vigil at the Cenotaph at 7:00 p.m.

All are invited to pay their respects to our brave Veterans and to light a candle on behalf of loved ones who have served to ensure our freedom. Candles will be provided.

Please remember that Legion Week is open to all and we sincerely invite you to join us.
