Seniors' theatre night

2007-09-20 / Local News

The Lord Dufferin Centre, a seniors' residence based in the former Dufferin Area Hospital building, is hosting a theatre night tonight featuring Jayco Productions' production, "Harvest Show."

The show is designed to help residents celebrate the fall harvest season by performing old time favorites such as "Don't sit under the apple tree," and they will reap the fall season's harvest by enjoying tasty apple treats. The event is open to residents, their families and the Orangeville community.

The seniors' residence, an elegant and modern retirement community, also furthers an enduring legacy of caring for people in Dufferin County. Located on the site of Orangeville's first hospital, built in 1907, it is at the downtown corner of First and Elizabeth Streets and boasts a 78-suite residence complemented with everything one needs located either on the premises or just a few minutes away.
