Fazackerley earns Montreal ride
Local Shelburne motocross racer, eight year old Isaac Fazackerley, has been selected to race in this years' Montreal Supercross event scheduled September 29th at Olympic Stadium, Montreal.
As part of the KTM Mini Stars Program, approximately fifteen children between the ages of 7 & 8 are selected from across Canada to race during the three major Canadian events held in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
The KTM Mini Stars program is a unique invitational event for Canadian children to experience life as a professional Supercross rider for a day and to promote a positive image of the sport.
As a sponsored rider through local Factory KTM dealer Tractor Turf & Trail of Orangeville, Isaac will race a brand new factory bike in front of more than 50,000 spectators.
Isaac's been riding motorized vehicles since he was four and presently competes in the Ontario Canadian Motocross Provincial Series (CMX) where he finished 4th overall.
"We're absolutely ecstatic that Isaac will be able to compete in a World Class event like this - it's something that he's wanted to do" states his dad Mike.
According to Chris Hare, owner of Tractor Turf & Trail, "KTM provides an excellent opportunity for kids to share in a life-time experience within a well controlled, safe, fun and organized environment.
As one of our TT&T Performance sponsored riders, we're thrilled that Isaac has been selected to attend".
The Montreal Supercross will be held September 29th and is expected to be broadcast on Speed Channel at a yet to be determined time/date.
