      The Orangeville Crushers are finding out that learning curves has ups and downs. After posting a pair of wins the week before, Orangeville found themselves on the wrong side of the score sheet this past weekend, dropping games to both Huntsville and Collingwood.

      The 98AE Minor Atom Orangeville Flyers opened their 2007/08 season with a 5-3 over the Oakville Rangers. The story of the game was clearly the goaltending of Flyer A.J. Braiden. Oakville dominated the game in the shot department and time and again, Braiden was up to the task.

      The Summit Fitness Midget A Orangeville Tigers started their season by spending the Sept 28-30 weekend at the ten team Oshawa Lady Generals Tournament. With only a pair of exhibition games and three practices under their belts, team trainer Patti Little was visibly nervous.

Atom B Tigers start season in style
      The Orangeville Atom B Tigers finished the Willowdale Red Wings girl's hockey tournament with a second place triumph last weekend. The girls, sponsored by Sanderson Sports, made it to the finals on Sunday afternoon only to be edged 4-2 by a determined Leaside Wildcats team.
