The 98AE Minor Atom Orangeville Flyers opened their 2007/08 season with a 5-3 over the Oakville Rangers.

The story of the game was clearly the goaltending of Flyer A.J. Braiden. Oakville dominated the game in the shot department and time and again, Braiden was up to the task.

At the other end, Orangeville made good on the shots they did take.

The Flyer squad had three players with two point games.

Hunter Reid, Craig Maizis and Ty Mikulik each registered a goal and an assist. Charlie Illick and Trevor Kain would fire in solo markers.

Adding single assists were Brennan Harwood-Jones, Zachary Kaiser, Jack Malo, Carson Aitchison and Tristen Wooley.
