Ron Bosman has managed to confirm in a somewhat disjointed manner why faithbased schooling should not be encouraged. The voters have spoken but I suspect that some of these zealots will raise the issue again.

But what really worries me is that Ron is not alone in thinking that education is a matter of quoting from the bible and treating children as being owned by their parents.

Surely a child is a human being that the parent is responsible for raising to be an independent thinker-not just a clone of the parents!
