The Orangeville and District Minor Lacrosse Association will begin accepting coaches applications for the 2008 season starting Friday, December 14th.

Applications are available on the Northmen website, www.northmenlacrosse. com or by contacting a member of the 2008 Executive.

Deadline for all applications to be received by the association is Wednesday, January 30th, 2008.

Currently, plans are in the works to host a local coaches clinic early in the new year for both box and field lacrosse.

Any one interested in coaching including those who have no lacrosse experience are welcome to attend these events.

All individuals who take the coaching clinic and submit a receipt will be reimbursed upon successful clinic completion and season committment in September 2008.

This year, one of the association goals for house league teams is to pair up a responsible adult coach with hopefully, a Jr B. player or senior player to help bring some seasoned experience to each team.

House league games will again be scheduled entirely at the Alder Street Recreation Centre.

The association is also looking for volunteers to help out with various duties throughout the season.

Media relations, tournament help, parade committie and fundraising are just a few of the areas the Northmen can utilize extra help.
