Peewee AE in OT win
Hardwork, determination combined with a generous dose of heart helped lift the Orangeville Minor Peewee AE Flyers to a post a 5-4 overtime win in their first game of the playoffs.
Orangeville was quick off the mark when James Maizis scored just 20 seconds into the game on assists from Branson Giles and Mike Slipenkyj.
The trio combined again early in the second, this time with Slipenkyj doing the honours to put Orangeville out 2-0.
Georgetown would get one back before Maizis tagged his second on the night assisted by Giles and Trevor Morrisey.
Nathan Small was exceptional between the pipes for Orangeville.
Georgetown would again draw within one off the top of three before Giles made it 4-2 with four minutes left in regulation time.
Georgetown wasn't done yet adding another pair - the fourth with no time left on the clock, to force overtime.
The extra period was no different from the rest of the game with pouring on the pressure taking shot after shot.
Then with only five minutes left in overtime, Jacob MacKenzie tossed a backhand past the Raiders goalie to give the Flyers a hard earned 5-4 victory
