      I appreciate Monika Ferenczy's letter of last week clarifying that the French Language school opening in Orangeville is a French First Language school offered by the Conseil scolaire de district du Centre-Sud-Ouest. Thankfully, this is a French Public school board, not a French Catholic school board.

      According to Paul Hutchings, another "blast of winter" was responsible for "causing accidents" on Dufferin's roads recently (article Jan.31). Really? According to authorities like Sgt. John Coghlan, and Dave Woodford and Cam Wooley, it's drivers: "The best thing to do, he(Coghlan) said, is listen to the weather reports and don't venture out in bad weather.
