THE FAMILY TREE:

Photo/DAN PELTON THE FAMILY TREE: Orangeville residents now have an opportunity to add a baby tree to their families with the launch of the Baby Tree program by the Urban Forestry subcommittee of the Orangeville Sustainability Action Team. Donations can mark the arrival of a baby by making a donation. A tree will be planted in the baby's name. Donors will receive an income tax receipt (for donations of $10 or more), and a card will be sent to the babies indicating that donations were made on their behalf. Posing with a sapling outside Town Hall are (left to right) Mayor Rob Adams, Councillor Sylvia Bradley, and committee members Terry Stanley and Wayne Donnelly.
