Tyke Select

The Arthurs Fuel Tyke Select Flyers came flying out of the gate last Tuesday night, quickly opening up a 4-0 lead in the first 5:32 of the game on their way to a 6-2 win over Guelph.

The Storm rebounded to take control of the second period, but were only able to score two on Orangeville's Liam McIllwraith before the Flyers regained the composure and add a pair of goals in the third.

Orangeville's record in the round-robin stands at 2-1-2, good for a tie for third place and a game in hand.

Brendan Chapman and Owen Robinson led the offence with three points each while Kurtis Cotton- Petersen, Dakota Zarudny, Ryan Bowie, Devon Dunkerley, Mark Strudwick and Justin Stairs chipped in with a point a piece.

The Flyers host Flamborough on Saturday at 4:00 and play Caledon on Tuesday at 7:00. Both games are at Tony Rose A arena.
